f/22.0, ISO 100,

#acqua #cascate #montagne

little foresight with which we treat it is really incredible and demoralizing

A concept expressed in very kind terms and with gentleness, in reality we are at the irreversible catastrophe.
Beautiful photo excellent reflection .......
....... unfortunately!
A cordial greeting.

Thanks Paul.
All your sensitivity (and a "thread" of pessimism...) on these issues emerges from your writing.
A warm greeting
Giacomo

I allow myself a small reply, I don't want to...
I believe that everyone must intervene for the good of all with the means at their disposal; for this reason I appreciate your photo and your reflection. For my part, these are issues on which I have written a lot for some decades ...
I renew a cordial greeting.

But I don't want you at all, on the contrary!
Firstly because it is always a pleasure to entertain yourself with a person with a lively intelligence, a vast culture and a strong sensitivity. :-)
And secondly, because you are the only one with whom you can do it on this image with very little liking ... :-D
Of course I joke (but only on this last point).
I who live practically at their feet had to wait to see the Dolomites to be able to fall in love with the mountains.
Greetings

Very beautiful and well made image, unfortunately of a very serious and dramatic situation,
I fully share your reflection. Many compliments Giacomo for the excellent proposal.

In addition to the photo that I like and that makes the water look like a divine ray that descends between the rocks.
You did a great job I guess with times on a couple of seconds plentiful.
Then I fully share your thought in the caption accompanying the image.
maximum.

I fully agree with the considerations expressed about the mismanagement of such a precious and vital element. Here in Sardinia every year that passes we see desertification advancing in the culpable indifference of the institutions and of a large part of the population. And to think that geologists have been saying for years that our subsoil has unimaginable water resources ... but no one thinks of exploiting them properly. Will we die of thirst for not daring to bend down to get that water?

-Thanks Massimo, 0.8 sec. resting on rock. In fact, you can still see the texture of the water. The effect of the miracle was just what I wanted to emphasize.
-Thanks Augusto, I am also pleased to make your acquaintance. Thank you for your appreciation of the acronym. The most famous people had the same initials: Greta Garbo, Brigitte Bardot, Marilyn Monroe and.. I :-D
I think not. I'm afraid that when we decide to bend down to collect it we will not find any more ...
Good evening

Another image that causes strong emotions, water as a mirage of our days, just today on the radio I listened to the news they gave about the closure of the Francesco Gonella Refuge. "It might seem strange, but as the managers of the structure that stands at 3,071 meters above sea level, on the Italian side of the Mont Blanc massif, the snowfield that supplies it with water has run out and therefore the activity has become unsustainable.
The drought, the heat and the climate change that is causing the Alpine glaciers to melt has prematurely put an end to the summer season of a popular refuge on Mont Blanc."
After the confrontation with Paul I do not know what to add beyond today's news, unfortunately also on me there is a strong pessimism :-(
Congratulations Giordano, excellent composition and document.
