Sono sempre qui. Seguendo gli occhione per qualche anno ho imparato moltissimo sui loro comportamenti ed interazioni di coppia. Una squadra davvero affiatata quella composta dal maschio e dalla femmina di questa specie. Oltre ad avere innumerevoli trucchi per nascondere il nido, frutto di un' evoluzione mirata a deporre le uova in piena vista senza che siano notate, li ha resi degli specialisti del mimetismo e del depistaggio. La cosa che più mi meraviglia però è vedere il maschio, che anche senza che sia fisicamente a fianco della femmina, se ne prende comunque cura. È in continua perlustrazione del terreno per cercare possibili minacce e sempre pronto ad intervenire e o lanciare richiami di allarme alla femmina. Raramente appare al suo fianco, quasi a volerla rassicurare. Eccomi sono ancora e sempre qui.
