siamo già in cammino da oltre mezzora - partiti dal Payer hutte con la penombra ecco davanti a noi la montagna da salire - si vede la traccia di chi ci h preceduto nei giorni scorsi -la cima dell'Ortles è alta 3.905 m e allora era davvero una massa di ghiaccio e neve- un percorso condiviso con circa 25 persone del Cai che ora rappresento- un bellissimo inizio nel 1978 -

I have skied several times on this beautiful glacier ...... and once I climbed up to 3500 with my daughter on my shoulders..... then thinking about it I was an unconscious :-( .....
Crossing a stone 50 meters wide I stopped halfway to admire the view ...... and I had the feeling of being on the move...... I look down and realize that I am on a layer of ice covered by a landslide ...... everything went down to the valley ...... I was very quick to regain the path from where I came :-P :-P ;-)
