il trekking in alta quota delle valli di Gokyo e Kumbhu regalano emozioni fantastiche tra gli 8.000 della terra - saliamo con soddisfazione questa cima sopra i laghi di Gokyo e sotto di noi il ghiacciaio più grande del Nepal - davanti a noi il Cho-Oyu (8.200 m) ai confini con il Tibet - la fatica della quota verrà in parte attenuata dalla lunga discesa che ci farà pernottare quasi 1.000 m più in basso per consentire un buon recupero- l'indomani la salita al Cho-la-pass che ci porterà al Kumbhu -
