at 28mm, 1/30 f/3.2, ISO 160, hand held. Monte Grappa, Italy.

Col Campeggia, posto a quota 1100 m sulle ultime propaggini a sud ovest del massiccio, in vicinanza della Strada Cadorna e sopra la valle di Santa Felicità, assunse un ruolo logistico molto importante durante il primo conflitto mondiale. Venne realizzata per il trasporto dei materiali una ferrovia a scartamento ridotto da Bassano a Santa Felicità, e da qui partivano due teleferiche e una condotta idrica che raggiungevano Campeggia. Dal Col Campeggia partivano a sua volta due teleferiche dirette una a Monte Oro e l' altra al Monte Asolone. Le trincee, le gallerie, gli osservatori, gli spiazzi per i depositi, sapientemente restaurati e coadiuvati dall'esaustiva pannellistica, permettono di capire il ruolo dell'importante centro fortificato del Col Campeggia.
