at 14mm, 1/6 f/3.5, ISO 1600, hand held. Parco Nazionale delle Dolomiti Bellunesi, Italy.

Venerdì 5 novembre, tra Staulanza e F.lla Ambrizzola, ultima foto della giornata, ore 18,18 (caso). Doveva essere poco più di una passeggiata, poi la malsana idea "scendiamo giù dritti verso la strada"... Peccato che il sole sia tramontato prima... Senza aver portato una torcia, con gli smarthpone che si sono spenti per il freddo, alla fine abbiamo identificato una cresta e siamo risaliti fino a oltre 2000 m, dove secondo i nostri calcoli doveva passare il sentiero dell'andata (calcoli corretti). Da lì scendere prima al Città di Fiume e poi alla strada per Staulanza era semplice, faticoso per la neve per niente solida e per alcuni saliscendi, ma semplice. Incredibile quanto - col paesaggio innevato - la luce delle stelle permetta di muoversi comunque con una certa sicurezza (aiutata da quel po' di inquinamento luminoso dato dai paesini in valle). Poi gli smarthpone, tenuti un po' al caldo, son tornati a funzionare, ma abbiamo preferito lasciarli quasi sempre spenti risparmiando le batterie. Un grande grazie al custode notturno del Rifugio Città di Fiume - Madi, un giovane del Gambia - che ci ha fatti rifiatare e riprendere le energie al calduccio. La foto non è speciale, ma veicola un bel po' di sensazioni per me e Federico, quindi la metto.
