Il luogo dove "riposava" (si fa per dire) S. Francesco durante la sua permanenza nell'Eremo delle carceri. Come potete vedere la pietra alla base è liscia e traslucida, questo è dovuto alle carezze dei fedeli che nel corso degli anni la toccavano e lisciavano con le proprie mani, in seguito hanno installato una balaustra in legno per evitare il contatto con la pietra stessa.
