Mercoledì 6 ottobre 2021, 13:04. Questa è la mia preferita tra le piazze milanesi; così bella che mi sembra di essere a Roma pittuosto che nel capolugo lombardo. Essa accoglie la magnifica chiesa barocca di Sant'Alessandro in Zebedia (visibile a ore 6), costruita a partire dal 1601 sotto il patrocinio del cardinale Federico Borromeo e su progetto del padre Barnabita Lorenzo Binago, cui si affiancherà più tradi Francesco Maria Richini. A ore 7-9 è il palazzo delle ex Scuole Arcimbolde, conosciuto anche come Monastero dei Barnabiti o Collegio di Sant'Alessandro. A ore 4 è il palazzo Trivulzio; a ore 2-3 il palazzo Pusterla Brivio.
