04.07.2021 Il Trekking Scimpanzé nella foresta di di Kibale offre le stesse sensazioni dei Gorilla tracking, anche se in realtà questa specie non è così 'scontato' vederla, sopratutto in ottime condizione e adeguata distanza a causa del suo stile di vita. Gli Scimpanzé infatti molto spesso sono a 30 metri d'altezza, sugli alberi, per mangiare. Noi li abbiamo attesi, siamo rimasti con loro circa 60 minuti, e l'interazione con questa specie è stata emozionante. Adulti, giovani, giovanissimi, baby...ed anziani. Un gruppo di circa 20 individui. Nell'immagine il più anziano della famiglia, nel suo volto e nei suoi occhi si vedono i Segni del Tempo passato e la speranza che questo tipo di 'ecoturismo' possa aiutare questa specie dalla minaccia di estinzione causata in questo caso dalla continua deforestazione per lasciare spazio alle coltivazioni di The, Canna da zucchero e Caffè.
