Rara (per la toscana) chiesa nello stile romanico-lombardo, a tre navate, risalente all'anno mille, successivamente fortificata. Attualmente il convento è un ostello per i pellegrini della via Francigena. Di grandissima suggestione è purtroppo visitata da rari appassionati. Contiene affreschi interessanti fra cui questa ascensione di Maria al cielo del Tamagni (1500), che dal vivo è una macchia abbagliata e solo con un grande lavoro di PP si riesce ad apprezzare meglio. Non cercate rumore in questa foto: è così dal vivo.
