La Collegiata dei Santi Quirico e Giulitta si trova nel centro del paese di San Quirico d'Orcia, in piazza Chigi. L'attuale edificio fu costruito, nel XII sec., in sostituzione di un'antica pieve. Nella seconda metà del XIII secolo furono intrapresi lavori di ampliamento che consistettero nell'aggiunta dei due portali laterali lungo la Via Francigena. Il primo dei portali laterali costruito nel 1288 è stato attribuito a Giovanni Pisano. La chiesa ha una pianta a croce latina con la presenza di un'unica navata e cappelle absidali.
