Carruggio o caroggio , pronunciato "carruggiu", nel dialetto genovese, vuole indicare una strada stretta, in genere delimitata da palazzi a destra e sinistra, anche con porticati, tipica dei centri storici liguri. Qui siamo a Chiavari , ai lati abbiamo appunto i portici con tanti bei negozi meta dei, noi diciamo, "furesti" che sono tanti, per fortuna e importanti per l'economia ligure.
