Una delle più antiche e originali fontanelle romane, situata nel Borgo Vittorio fu spostata nella sede attuale nel 1930 a seguito dell'ampliamento di via di Porta Angelica e della ridefinizione dei confini tra Italia e Vaticano. Ringrazio l'amico juzzino Savastano per avermela fatta conoscere. La sua caratteristica peculiare è che è situata al di sotto del piano stradale, cosa davvero inconsueta. La foto non tragga in inganno... anche se è incastonata tra due scalinate è davvero piccola. L'obiettivo usato, un fisheye e nello specifico il 7Artisans 7.5mm su Sony A6000, ne enfatizza le proporzioni. Del resto il pochissimo spazio a disposizione impone l'uso di focali ultragrandangolari se la si vuol riprendere completamente. Il nome deriva sia dalla posizione originale dell'opera vicino a via di Porta Angelica sia dal fatto che all'epoca era alimentata dall'omonimo acquedotto. Attualmente è allacciata all'acquedotto Vergine. Questo piccolo gioiello romano, opera di Francesco Buffa nel 1898, merita una visita. Si può anche sostare nella piazza che la ospita, piazza delle Vaschette, grazie alle numerose panchine. Se volete fotografarla portatevi un grandangolo bello spinto...
