questa foto riprende uno dei più bei paesaggi costieri di Puglia Costa Ripagnola, era stato presentato un progetto di trasformazione turistica che avrebbe trasformato questo come altri pagliari presenti in unità abitative, insieme alla fruizione della costa e organizzazione di eventi. La legge regionale per i parchi prevedeva dal 1997 l'istituzione di un parco regionale mai realizzato per opposizione dell'ente locale il comune di Polignano. Questo progetto, approvato dal comune, ha compattato un fronte contrario che ha portato all'istituzione dell'area protetta, la legge però in consiglio regionale è stata stravolta tanto che è stata impugnato dal governo alla Corte Costituzionale per contrasto con il piano paesaggistico, quello che non si poteva fare in base al Piano Paesaggistico la legge lo permetteva. Un caso emblematico di cattiva politica
