Un soggetto mitico per i fotografi naturalisti di tutto il mondo: l'airone agami. È uno degli aironi più eleganti ed elusivi, solitario e molto raro, qui ripreso nella sua livrea riproduttiva. L'ho ricercato durante un'escursione in barca in una fitta palude popolata da una miriade di zanzare (che tormento!). Alla fine l'ho trovato e sono sceso dalla barca oltrepassando una mangrovia quasi inestricabile. Purtroppo l'agami era sempre in ombra nel fitto della vegetazione. La qualità fotografica non è un quindi un gran che, ma ho voluto ugualmente condividerla perché la cattura secondo me lo merita. Rio Claro, Pantanal.
