Richiede equilibrio sia a terra che sulla barca nella fase di torsione. La rete viene divisa in due tranche, appoggiandone una metà sulla spalla e tenendo l'altra metà in mano. La rotazione impressa e l'estensione del braccio, consentono di "aprire" il cerchio. Il gesto deve essere calmo, progressivo, così da non spaventare i pesci per coglierli sorpresa. Necessita di fondi sabbiosi perchè la rete dopo il lancio deve poggiarsi sul fondo senza lasciare spazi di fuga; il lago è perfetto, il mare a volte meno a causa di scogli sul fondo. Tecnica spettacolare da vedere in esecuzione e dal sapore antico. Conservo gelosamente uacchio in cotone, fatto a mano da mio nonno che ora non c'è più.
