#Yellow Ranunculus repens L. Descrizione: Pianta perenne, erbacea, con radice fascicolata, stolonifera; i fusti spesso sono arrossati e radicanti ai nodi, striscianti alla base poi eretti, glabri. Le foglie basali sono picciolate, trifogliate, ± lucide, glabre, lobato-partite con lamina divisa in 5 segmenti, il lobo centrale ha forma rombica ed è lungamente peduncolato, i 2 inferiori opposti sono a loro volta picciolati, i 2 superiori opposti sono sessili ; le foglie cauline sono simili, alterne sono progressivamente ridotte così come i piccioli sono via via + brevi, le foglie alte sono sessili. Le infiorescenze sono multiflore, ma lasse portate da peduncoli striati. I fiori dal Ø di 25÷30 mm, con ricettacolo peloso, perianzio attinomorfo con calice di 5 sepali pelosi, patenti ed appressati alla corolla all'antesi e poi caduchi e corolla composta da 5 petali obovati di colore giallo-dorato; stami, inseriti a spirale più brevi dei sepali e dei petali; antere bi-logge, di colore giallo, carpelli liberi inseriti a spirale sul ricettacolo. Antesi: marzo÷settembre Habitat: Ambienti umidi, prati spesso inondati d'acqua, rive di laghi, di fossi e stagni; dal piano sino a 2.000 m s.l.m.
