La foto è perfettamente gestita nella luce e nei colori ed il soggetto ha un'ottima postura, insomma, un bel ritratto ambientato.
Due piccoli appunti che poco o nulla tolgono alla bellezza dello scatto: il primo, banale, è che, riferendomi al titolo, non è una violoncellista, ma piuttosto, una mandolinista. Il secondo è che avrei alzato l'inquadratura di pochi centimetri perché la cornice del quadro tagliata è un piccolo dettaglio, ma si nota abbastanza e non sta benissimo.
Comunque è una foto molto ben pensata e costruita e ben realizzata.
