la vallata posta a 3.500 m è arida come le montagne- per fortuna i ghiacciai incastonati sulle alte montagne forniscono acqua per piccole coltivazioni di cereali e tuberi- la sussistenza è veramente precaria e anticamente la vallata era isolata per circa 5 mesi all'anno per la neve ed il freddo. Un mistero come siano sopravvissuti-
