L'ingresso della valle dove nel tratto della Via Mercatorum nel borgo di Oneta la tradizione individua la Casa di Arlecchino, ora museo e decorata con pregevoli affreschi, una delle classiche maschere simbolo della trasgressione del Carnevale ma che ha radici culturali più profonde nella Commedia dell'Arte: personaggi che assieme a costumi caratteristici indossano maschere per esprimersi con gesti codificati. Dall'Alichino di dantesca memoria passando per la commedia sino alla società moderna, da Goldoni a Pirandello a Strehler, va in scena il linguaggio e la danza delle “maschere quotidiane” che ogni individuo indossa per essere e apparire o essere giudicati. – “Prima di giudicare la mia vita o il mio carattere mettiti le mie scarpe, percorri il cammino che ho percorso io.
