Cornello, frazione di Camerata Cornello (BG) è un borgo di grande interesse storico. Nel Medioevo si trovava sulla Via Mercatorum, l'insieme di collegamenti tra Bergamo, Valtellina e i Grigioni. Quando, nel 1593, la Serenissima realizzò la nuova Via Priula sul fondovalle della Val Brembana, la vecchia via cadde in disuso e il borgo di Cornello si congelò nel suo aspetto medievale che tuttora conserva. Al borgo è legata la vicenda della famiglia Tasso, originaria di Cornello, che - ramificatasi e stabilitasi in diverse parti d'Europa - ebbe un ruolo fondamentale nella creazione e diffusione del sistema postale europeo. Dalla famiglia proviene il noto poeta Torquato Tasso. Cornello dei Tasso fa parte dell'associazione dei "Borghi più belli d'Italia". La foto è una panoramica ottenuta sfruttando diverse posizioni di decentramento dell'obiettivo. #Borghi #borghitalia
