Il Grignolino è certamente uno degli antichi vitigni piemontesi che impreziosiscono il panorama vinicolo italiano e trova la sua culla nel territorio compreso tra Asti e Casale Monferrato. Il suo nome deriva con ogni probabilità da “grignole”, termine dialettale astigiano impiegato per indicare i vinaccioli particolarmente numerosi del vitigno. Di complessa vinificazione in fase di produzione, ripaga con un vino originale, caratteristico e imprevedibile in grado di affascinare per le sue proprietà e il suo carattere. La foto l'ho scattata a San Giorgio Monferrato, borgo collinare meritevole di attenzione.
