Oltre Ceresole Reale (P.N.G.P.) lungo la strada che porta ai Piani del Nivolet, si erge la diga "Città di Torino", costruita negli anni trenta del secolo scorso per approvvigionare di corrente elettrica la città; la diga forma un bellissimo lago, detto "del Serrù" sopra il quale si trova il rifugio "Pian della Ballotta", ricavato da una ex cabina dell'ENEL.
