L'idea era di fare l'alba al Monte Seceda, ma subito dopo la partenza alle 3:50 il cielo ha iniziato a lampeggiare e poco dopo ha iniziato a piovere. L'idea di trovarmi sotto al temporale in cima ad una montagna dove non ero mai stato non mi entusiasmava molto, così, dato che ormai ero sveglio, ho pensato di tentare di andare all'Alpe di Siusi in macchina, con poche speranze di portare a casa qualcosa di buono, dato che continuava a piovere. Lascio la macchina al parcheggio e mi incammino cercando di raggiungere il classico spot per riprendere il Saslong. Dato che non si preannuncia nulla di buono, me la prendo con calma... poi il maledetto miracolo! Il cielo si accende ed io sono ancora lontano da dove dovrei essere. Mi metto a correre ed in preda al panico monto il cavalletto e cerco disperatamente un soggetto. Nel frattempo compare anche l'arcobaleno sullo Sciliar, ma non riesco a riprenderlo. Inizio a pensare a quanto sono stato stupido a non aver allungato il passo. Poi finalmente trovo un'inquadratura che mi piace. A dire il vero c'è troppo prato, ma non importa. La lezione è chiara. Bisogna crederci anche quando sembra che non ci sia nulla da fare. Sulle Dolomiti tutto può succedere.
