Durante le serate dedicate alla cometa Neowise ho cercato di portare a casa dei dati anche nel campo astronomico che mi interessa maggiormente, cioè l'astrofotografia del profondo cielo. Così, venerdì 24 luglio, insieme ad alcuni amici del gruppo Astrofili Bisalta, ho puntato il telescopio verso la Nebulosa Laguna (Messier 8), a circa 4000 a.l. nella costellazione del Sagittario. Era da molto tempo che volevo riprendere questo oggetto, ma la posizione bassa sull'orizzonte Sud l'ha spesso reso difficile. Questa volta l'ho fotografata dal Rifugio Fauniera (Cn), a 2300m. Sky-Watcher Newton 200/1000 con correttore di coma Baader RCC Canon Eos 6D modificata Super UV/IR Cut Sky-Watcher Eq6Pro 20x420s @1600ISO + 15X30s per la regione centrale.
