La Piana Reatina è una pianura alluvionale dell'Italia centrale situata nel Lazio, ai piedi dei monti Sabini e Reatini, originata dalla bonifica ordinata nel 271 a.C. dal console romano Manlio Curio Dentato dell'antico Lago Velino. È chiamata anche Valle Santa, dal momento che per più anni in questi luoghi soggiornò San Francesco fondando i santuari francescani (La Foresta, Poggio Bustone, Fonte Colombo e Greccio) che si trovano ai quattro estremi della pianura e ancora oggi attirano turisti e devoti. È percorsa per tutta la sua lunghezza dal fiume Velino, è interamente circondata e delimitata da montagne, e comprende la riserva naturale del lago Lungo e del lago di Ripa Sottile.
