Fumatore accanito, lo si trova sulla panchina quasi tutti i pomeriggi quando la stagione calda si avvicina. Passare del tempo con Gerardo significa immergersi in un turbine di racconti della lontana terra d' Abruzzo specie quando si parla della sua ricetta per fare l'amatriciana.
