Il monastero di Sershul (Shiqu-Sichuan), ospita l'Università monastica buddista, che ha l'autorizzazione per insegnare il più alto grado buddista tibetano Geshe. E' purtroppo anche presidiato da numerosi check-point di polizia che respingono i pochi turisti che si avventurano fino in quel luogo. Dopo essere stati respinti ad un primo tentativo, con l'aiuto di un locale siamo riusciti a by-passare i controlli e ad accedere al monastero. In una parte dell'edificio religioso c'era una stanza dedicata allo studio, dove dei giovani monaci recitavano i mantra sotto l'attento sguardo del Lama.
