Spectacular especially for the light and the unusual shot: it comes out curious as if to observe him that you are photographing him. A greeting

A great light and a beautiful pose out of the nest hole for a great sharp and detailed image. we hope it didn't come out because it was disturbed by your presence, or some of your calls.... it always takes so much prudence in these situations.....congratulations

Hello
It is a bit unusual shooting because it is possible to take them only at sunset, the only time the light arrives on the nest, but it is better so because they will stay cool in the hottest hours of July.
It is a subject very attached to its territory and sometimes overlooks from its nest during the brood period and then when there are young before flying away checks for a few seconds that there are no dangers nearby.
The nest is on the oak tree 30 meters from my house near my garden where he sees me when I do work or cut the grass of the camp, but he has never abandoned his nest, indeed all the years ago battles to hunt competitors who are probably males born in previous years in the same nest.
I thank you
Dario
