The camera is old, but that CCD with 10 Mpx gives beautiful colors, and for macro images is much-much better than other ones with bigger sensor. (like Pentax K3, which I also have and use) because diffraction effects. I can not say anything about the light, because it is not mine, it is the one which was then.
