"Er Mejo der Colosseum"! .... sent on April 27, 2020 (22:57) by Rodema. 66 comments, 1167 views. [retina]

hand held.

--- (Rod)

"It was 1986 and it lasted a handful of years" Rod I stayed there until 2009 to shoot DIA :-D then I bought myself a converter but after poor results I sold it and the conversion to digital failed, now they are there in the containers waiting :-/
I'm happy to give them the "luster" they deserve and good conversion to b.n. if then as Marisa says you are in the foreground, a greeting dear friend my :-P

... "As we were" ... in fact I had thought of this as a title, then prevailed something that sympathetically brought back to the Colosseum, but maybe I will open a new folder to insert some photos of the past :-) .
Loris sees that the current converters are valid and that unfortunately the DIA has been ruined, but at least for some it is worth wasting some time.
Ebbene you are the guy in the foreground who "steals" the scene at the Colosseum :-)
A warm greeting to two dear friends.
Hello, Rod ;-)

Beautiful shot Rod, at that time I photographed very little and it's a shame because you lose certain places and memories. I never used the slide, it was basically like doing a little show with close friends.
I've been very rich in composition and the beautiful black and white that I've always been fascinating about.
A
Pophole ;-) greeting

A great recovery from the past.
Tho as you say the slides were also my passion I have many, many and these days with the projector I have been concerned with them.
How you say, I'm going to have to equip myself with a converter.
Hello and Good Day Rod

Nadia ...
Rod, now you're "Er mejo de' visionaries"
... :-D
Pier ... the screen was big, let's say a 3x2 m. and you projected over these images that given the size, gave you the feeling of being inside or reliving a little bit of those moments.

... time flies and review certain images, a little forgotten is a beautiful emotion as it is to think about the equipment of the time and how in a short time they have become obsolete.
Thank you very much for appreciating.
A dear greeting, Rod ;-)

Eh, yes, we could safely name it 'How We Were' this beautiful picture.
Propyally said: 'Er more' ... I think we can call the Colosseum er more than roman monuments, what inextricably represents the eternal city. Together you make a beautiful couple, Rod. I loved the slide, I also converted some of them digitally, present in my galleries; the advent of digital has made me abandon photography, but great passions always come back.
A greeting,
jo.
