La Pasqua, principale solennità del cristianesimo celebra la risurrezione di Gesù, avvenuta nel terzo giorno dalla sua morte in croce. La parola ebraica pesach significa "passare oltre". Particolarmente questo anno, il "passare oltre" acquista un significato maggiore del solito. Il covid 19 che attanaglia l'Italia ma anche una gran parte del modo intero, sta facendo soffrire molta gente. Il personale sanitario é in prima linea e sta facendo bene il proprio dovere. In un Paese come il nostro dove si esagera sempre con l'appellativo di "eroe".é facile che questi vengano definiti come tale. Sarebbe meglio cercare di mantenere in Italia piú personale sanitario e di riaprire piú ospedali invece di inscenare queste operette non degne di un Paese serio. Meglio quindi di parlare di Pasqua: Con l'avvento del cristianesimo la Pasqua ha acquisito un nuovo significato, indicando il passaggio da morte a vita per Gesù Cristo e il passaggio a vita nuova per i cristiani liberati dal peccato con il sacrificio sulla croce e chiamati a risorgere con Gesù. La Pasqua cristiana è quindi Pasqua di resurrezione. Il 15 Aprile 2006 SUA SANTITÀ BENEDETTO XVI affermava: "A Pasqua ci rallegriamo perché Cristo non è rimasto nel sepolcro, il suo corpo non ha visto la corruzione; appartiene al mondo dei viventi, non a quello dei morti; ci rallegriamo perché Egli è – come proclamiamo nel rito del Cero pasquale – l'Alfa e al contempo l'Omega, esiste quindi non soltanto ieri, ma oggi e per l'eternità."
