Faro Sciara Biscari di Catania. Situato all'ingresso Sud della città, ad un passo dalla trafficata rotonda della Plaja, è per tutti noto come "il faro di Catania". Prende il nome dalla illustre famiglia Paternò Castello Principe di Biscari. Fu attivato per la prima volta nel 1896. Distrutto durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale fu ricostruito più alto, ed inaugurato nel 1951. L'attuale torre misura 28 metri. Sullo sfondo l'Etna fumante. #faro #lighthouse
