Da un bel po' di tempo un magnifico esemplare di cigno ha preso la libertà "evadendo" da una villa con laghetto nei pressi di Gallipoli. L'ambientazione all'habitat marino è stata rapida e priva di difficoltà tanto da riuscire a convivere tranquillamente con i gabbiani. Nel giro di pochi giorni è divenuto "cittadino onorario" e non disdegna affatto di farsi vedere in pubblico, farsi fotografare e di accettare cibo e acqua; è divenuto tra l'altro beniamino dei pescatori tanto che spesso lo rimpinzano con degli ottimi pescetti freschi.
