Versione alternativa rivisitata....Monumento Carcano di Bregnano Edicola D Ponente Superiore. L'architetto è Cesare Nava, lo scultore Antonio Carminati. Siamo nel 1904. Per la prima volta viene rappresentato l'angelo della morte di sesso maschile, senza putti e senza angeli femminili. L'angelo punta verso l'alto con le grandi ali aperte e viene rappresentato come un giovane uomo sui 30 anni. La figura femminile invece punta verso il basso anche grazie al panneggio sotto la scultura. La giovane donna è semi nuda e sembra si aggrappi all'angelo. Il basamento è neo-barocco con ridondanza delle forme per celebrare la famiglia committente.
