Originariamente appuntamento del giovedì Grasso del Carnevale Laldaggiolu è stato anticipato tanti anni fa, di una settimana, per permettere nel successivo appuntamento, la più moderna sfilata dei carri allegorici.***** Laldaggiolu Nasce dalla Storia di una città povera (tempi in cui non sempre lardo, insaccati, frutta fresca o secca e così via dicendo erano presenti sulle tavole dei più poveri), dove i protagonisti in Maschera “i Poveri” (che si sono impegnati per giorni e giorni nel carnevale, fino al Martedì Grasso) suonando strumenti improvvisati e cantando a trallallera, chiedono ai commercianti “i benestanti” un contributo in “cibarie” “sa palte 'e cantare” per la riuscita della festa.***** I doni dei commercianti vengono infilati in uno spiedo ed ostentato, come una bandiera, per stimolare nuovi doni dal negozio che si incontra per strada.***** La Mascherata di popolo è molto Semplice: una Giacchette (anche rigirata), un po' di fuliggine di sughero sul volto, un canna o un bastone in cui infilare i Doni dei commercianti e si parte ……. la ricorrenza coinvolge tutti adulti, bambini, ragazzi ……... Le strofe Satiriche dei Trallallera iniziano a risuonare dal Mattino fino a Tarda notte nelle vie del mio Bel Paese ……portando allegria ***** GiogiaLaldaggiolu è un corale momento di socializzazione in cui “sa palte 'e cantare” vale a dire i doni vengono condivisi con infinita gioia ……. ***** GiogiaLaldaggiolu oggi è un Ponte tra passato e presente che viene tramandato di anno in anno Ernesto
