La mattina presto. Chi ha la mia età ricorda che questa strada ha ospitato per 40 anni una delle sedi della RAI. RIcordo ancora il comunicato del giugno 1993 che diceva, tra le altre cose, "Dopo 40 anni la Rai lascia per sempre la sede di Via del Babuino. Il bellissimo palazzo a due passi da Piazza del Popolo di proprieta' del conte Vaselli che agli inizi del secolo ospitava l'Hotel de Russie, da domani rimarra' vuoto.......Dal Babuino sono partite le iniziative piu' importanti nel settore della radiofonia e nel campo dell'informazione della Rai. Per lunghi anni la sede ha rappresentato idealmente un punto di riferimento degli italiani all'estero......"
