La Loggia Amulea si trova a Padova lungo il liston (pavimentazione) della Piazza del Prato della Valle. Il nome del palazzo viene dal Cardinale Antonio da Mula che aveva già utilizzato questo edificio per creare un collegio (scuola) per l'educazione dei giovani. La costruzione però fu distrutta da un incendio nel 1822. Fu dunque fatto erigere nuovamente dal comune di Padova nel 1860. In epoche precedenti l'edificio era utilizzato per ospitare la presenza di personalità importanti in occasioni di spettacoli, circhi, corse di cavalli. Il palazzo è in stile neogotico e segue il modello degli edifici Veneziani, fu progettato dall'ingegnere Eugenio Maestri. Sotto il porticato vi è la lapide in ricordo di Felice Cavallotti e del Generale Alfonso La Marmora. E una dedica scritta del famoso poeta vate Gabriele D'Annunzio alla città di Padova. E' originale il fatto che dal 1909 al 1989 la Loggia fu la sede della caserma pompieri. Davanti al portico vi sono le statue create nel 1865 dello scultore Vincenzo Vela (di origini svizzere 1820-1891 che tante sculture creò in diverse regioni d'Italia) che raffigurano Dante Alighieri e del caposcuola della pittura italiana Giotto (che dipinse in importanti chiese di Padova).
