con Canon EF 2.0x III, 1/1000 f/9.0, ISO 500, hand held. Specie: Antidorcas marsupialis

Springbok nero (Antidorcas marsupialis), specie diversa dallo Springbok del Kalahari (Antidorcas hofmeyri); la specie meridionale, pur molto simile al noto Springbok di Etosha e del Botswana, presenta rare colorazioni scure o isabella, e in alcuni casi tali aberrazioni cromatiche sono state selezionate per renderle più numerose, purtroppo anche con l'obiettivo di diversificare l'offerta di trofei di caccia; abbiamo incontrato questi due esemplari incuriositi nella steppa di Langebaan, Western Cape, al ritorno dal nostro giro alla ricerca di endemismi con il noto ornitologo ed illustratore Faansie Peacock, purtroppo con la luce dura della tarda mattinata
