Io ho una certa fissazione per i fari. Ad ogni viaggio cerco sempre qualche faro da fotografare. Credo che l'unico fotografabile di Madeira sia questo situato nella parte più occidentale dell'isola. In realtà non è un faro imponente, particolarmente bello o posizionato in modo scenografico.... ma dovevo soddisfare in qualche modo la mia fisima. La composizione l'avevo studiata inizialmente in orizzontale ma purtroppo il cielo a sx era completamente sgombro. Inquadrando in verticale sono riuscito a riprendere l'unica parte di cielo in cui il sole è riuscito a colorare la forte foschia.
