Passera d'Italia, Passera sar

Sardinian sparrow sent on October 12, 2019 (9:47) by Marco Cirillo. 14 comments, 418 views. [retina]

con Canon EF 1.4x II, 1/500 f/5.6, ISO 200, tripod. Giulianova, Italy. Specie: Passer hispaniolensis

#Wild

Nice photo, and nice shot!! It often happens, especially in winter, to see the Sardinian Sarrows on the Adriatic coast, where they are also known of the colonies that reproduce in the area of the Delta del Po, and in Puglia. It remains an interesting sighting, accompanied by excellent photographic documentation!

Excellent shot and captures Marco. It's the first time I've seen it so well photographed, it looks different to the plumage of the chest.
A greeting Claudio :-)

Very nice Marco!!!! I also photographed it in March here in Pesaro, there were some specimens in the midst of the common sparrows and mattugia. So let's say that we can confirm the presence, at least of some subjects, on the Adriatic coast.
