La celebre Abbazia, ormai in rovina e priva del tetto, di San Galgano a Chiusdino (SI), dedicata a San Galgano Guidotti, il cavaliere che in segno di abbandono della vita mondana conficcò la sua spada nella roccia per trasformarla in Croce, che da quel momento divenne impossibile da estrarre dal terreno. La spada è ora conservata nel luogo dove avvenne il miracolo, a Montesiepi, nell'omonimo Eremo, chiamato anche "La Rotonda", per la sua forma circolare.
