Sto percorrendo la strada con l'auto e …. l'occhio si posa su una creatura appollaiata sul filo della luce e all'istante la identifico …. una magnifica Averla Maggiore. In oltre dieci anni di birdwatching è la seconda o forse la 3 volta che la vedo. Immediatamente mi guardo attorno e trovo uno spazio dove parcheggiare l'auto. Scendo con un pò di agitazione nella speranza che non si involi. È lì ad una 40 di metri e scatto immediatamente 4, 5 scatti incurante delle impostazioni vista la sua rarità e bellezza. Poi lentamente mi avvicino e arrivo ad una 20ina di metri è mi fermo per altri 7, 8 scatti. Faccio ancora 3, 4 passi e mi guarda un attimo. In quell'istante decido che non fare più alcun passo verso di Lei. “ Prima la sua sicurezza poi tutto il resto, scatti compresi “ Ancora diversi scatti e mi accorgo che i click non sembrano disturbarla.
