Versione monocromatica della precedente fotografia. Costruita in poco più di 2000 esemplari fra il 1951 ed il 1955... l'Alfa Romeo "Matta" aveva un motore a 4 cilindri di 1884 cm3 erogante 65 cavalli... derivato dalla berlina Alfa Romeo 1900... che le faceva raggiungere i 105 chilometri orari. Fu costruita nelle versioni Giardinetta dove aveva 6 posti a sedere disponibili, Cisterna e Sgombraneve più 6 prototipi fra cui la versione Macchina del Vento per l'addestramento dei futuri paracadutisti. Ne furono costruite alcune anche con motorizzazioni diesel. Nel 1952 una "Matta" vinse la 1000 Miglia nella sua categoria Veicoli Militari.
