Io e mia moglie siamo tornati alle Seychelles a 5 anni di distanza dal viaggio di nozze, stavolta per girarle in modo molto più completo. Uno dei pensieri più ricorrenti era che in 5 anni le nostre vite sono andate avanti e sono successe una miriade di cose, mentre la, nel mezzo dell'Oceano Indiano sembrava tutto rimasto invariato. Ho pensato ad una inquadratura e composizione che potesse rendere l'idea di quanto certi luoghi e certe "entità" se ne freghino altamente del tempo che scorre, o almeno, ne abbiano una percezione piuttosto diversa dalla nostra. Questo masso di granito (uno dei tanti per la verià ) mi sembrava piuttosto imponente e che rendesse bene l'idea del suo star li alla faccia di tutto e tutti. Come ulteriore rinforzo di questo concetto ho optato per il formato 1x1. Consiglio la visione a piena risoluzione.
