Durante un safari nel Parco Nazionale Etosha in Namibia, abbiamo avvistato da lontano un grossoe elefante maschio solitario e ci siamo fermati ad aspettare che ci passasse davanti. Nel frattempo dall'altro lato della straada sono sopraggiunte alcune macchine che si sono fermate ad aspettare lo stesso elefante. La prima macchina però era esattamente sulla tratiettoria che voleva percorrere l'animale e questa è una cosa molto pericolosa perchè gli elefanti non amano cambiare strada. Per fortuna il guidatore era un ranger esperto e silenziosamente e senza bruschi movimenti ha portato avanti l'auto quel tanto che bastava per lasciare strada libera al pachiderma. Da lontano si aveva la sensazione che l'animale stesse passando davvero molto molto vicino alle due auto e ho voluto riprendere tutta la sequenza.
