Panoramica con vista della sella del diavolo: Molentargius: il Parco naturale nato dalla salina. Un'oasi naturalistica a due passi dalla città. L'area umida di Molentargius, dalla dismissione della attività di estrazione del sale, avvenuta nel 1985, ha attraversato un percorso di riqualificazione e trasformazione in quello che ora è uno dei siti più ricchi di specie dell'avifauna dell'intera Sardegna. Lo stagno di Molentargius è risultato negli ultimi anni il sito più importante nel bacino del Mediterraneo per quanto riguarda la nidificazione dei fenicotteri. Il Parco, oltre ad ospitare una grande varietà di habitat e specie di importanza comunitaria, conserva ancora le tracce del suo passato testimoniato dagli affascinanti edifici dei primi del '900 della Città del Sale e degli antichi macchinari industriali.
