Siete�su uno dei percorsi più importanti in passato per l'inalpamento del bestiame. Su questa mulattiera sono passati per secoli agli alpigiani di Toceno, Druogno e Crana con le loro mandrie di bovini per raggiungere in estate i pascoli di alta quota. È, anche per questo, una mulattiera molto bella ed ancora in buono stato, segnalata con cartelli (M21). L'ambiente è molto ampio, verso nord-est ci sono le vette del Pizzo di Campolatte (m 2306) e del Pizzo Medaro (m 2553), vetta più alta della Valle Vigezzo. Verso est la valle dei Bagni di Craveggia ricoperta di boschi e più in basso la Valle Onsernone in territorio svizzero, verso Locarno.
