at 300mm, 1/160 f/2.8, ISO 3200, tripod.

Dopo un paio di uscite a vuoto per mancanza di Galli e condizioni meteo favorevoli decido di ritornare in Arena , sveglia alle 2.00 , arrivo nella mia piazzola preferita alle 3,45 , mi piazzo e aspetto , il freddo pungente inizia a farsi sentire , fortunatamente ho sempre con me qualcosa di caldo . Metto la testa tra le gambe per riposare e ad un tratto inizio a sentire i primi rugolii !!! e' ancora buoi , sento un rumore strano , mi affaccio dalla finestrella e vedo salire dal canale il maschio dominante con due femmine al seguito !!! si avvicinano e iniziano a girare in prossimita' del mio capanno , rimango immobile e aspetto che inizi ad arrivare un po di luce , nel frattempo due maschi atterrano su due coste in prossimita' dell'Arena , l'adrenalina sale ma decido di fare qualche scatto al buio (conoscendo i Galli che da un momento all'altro se ne volano via !!!!) aspetto , osservo i movimenti e gli spostamenti , passano i minuti e la luce inizia ad arrivare , le due galline si spostano agli estremi nei rododendri a osservare e il maschio di casa inizia la sua danza , purtroppo i contendenti se ne stanno in disparte e non accennano minimamente ad entrare in Arena , poi ad un tratto il padrone di casa vola verso un contendente e lo invola , i due iniziano a volare sopra di me e iniziano a beccarsi in volo , un scena mai vista , solitamente si azzuffano in terra , purtroppo posso solo osservare , sono impossibilitato a scattare foto , macchina sul cavalletto e luce poco indicata per certi dinamismi !!! dal cielo iniziano a scendere piumini e piume portati dalla brezza e i Galli scompaiono immediatamente nel nulla , la scena e' stata unica , mi e' dispiaciuto non riuscire a documentarla ma dentro di me ero strafelice !!!!! Andare a fotografare i Galli nel periodo degli amori e' molto faticoso e stressante ma se ti becchi certe giornate come queste torni a casa magari senza scatti ma con un'adrenalina adosso che solo chi fa queste cose piu' capire !!!!
