La Riley modello 9 fu costruita nelle versioni torpedo e berlina dal 1926 al 1935. Dal 1928 al 1932 anche in versione roadster denominata Brookland a cui era stato accorciato il passo di 30 centimetri rispetto alla versione torpedo e togliendo di conseguenza i sedili per i passeggeri posteriori.
